ABOUT ME

My journey in web development

2020

Embarked on my journey to become a web developer, starting with pug.js. This led to exploring Python and React.js to develop utility programs and websites.

2022

Expanded my knowledge to include Golang and Dart. Concepts like Kubernetes and DevOps became part of my expertise.

Created Atlasservers, a container orchestration platform inspired by AWS and Pterodactyl for serving compute resources to users on a subscription basis. Built the entire system for managing Docker containers, handling user provisioning, and processing monthly payments.

2023

Launched my first production application using Flutter with a Golang and Python microservices backend. Ventured into gRPC and self-hosting services like object storage, GitLab, and Elasticsearch.

2024

Joined Tipps, a customer feedback platform for multi-location businesses that helps companies collect and analyse customer reviews across multiple sites. Worked on migrating the platform from a pure Node.js backend to SvelteKit, modernising the architecture while maintaining existing functionality. The migration involved restructuring API routes, implementing server-side rendering, and integrating with the existing MySQL database through Prisma.

Built a comprehensive reporting engine featuring multi-page PDF generation using Puppeteer for server-side rendering. The system included dynamic state filters allowing clients to view real-time dashboards with customisable date ranges, location filtering, and journey-based segmentation. Implemented NPS score tracking and visualisation, along with photo evidence display from customer feedback responses, giving businesses complete visibility into their service quality metrics.

2025

Principal Engineer at CloudLobsters, an insuretech/fintech startup where I've been involved from the very beginning. Built the entire core API from the ground up using NestJS and Prisma with a modular schema architecture organised by domain. The API handles policy management with full lifecycle tracking, automated reminder systems for renewals and communications, comprehensive user authentication with role-based access control, and detailed email logging for audit trails.

Created multiple insurance quote and claims forms including jewellery cover and a dedicated flight claims system deployed as an isolated environment on AWS. Built the admin dashboard for internal policy administration and claims processing. Working across the full stack with SvelteKit for modern web applications, Angular for the existing employee benefits platform, and PostgreSQL for data persistence, building everything from customer-facing insurance forms to internal administration tools and reporting systems.
